Job Description:
This role is for an in-building Construction Manager based in North Carolina, with travel required. Candidates must have a high-level understanding of E2E in-building/IDS experience. The Construction Manager is accountable for all Civil Works and associated financial control via scheduling, SP/ASP, and quality management on a given project. They ensure that all Service Providers adhere to Ericsson standards, processes, and procedures, as well as all federal and local standards. The role also involves identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Assess and control charges to the agreed site design.
- Ensure only customer-approved materials are installed on the project and that Civil Works guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Provide on-site supervision during high-risk periods to prevent disturbances in customer site performance.
- Maintain an acceptable working environment, conduct safety inspections, and ensure tools are in good working condition.
- Solve Civil Works problems as required during the project.
- Coordinate site activities and ensure all disciplines involved in the project align with the project goals and objectives.
- Drive schedule activities and troubleshoot results.
- Ensure Service Providers and vendors/suppliers meet all technical specifications and workmanship quality is within the contract, Ericsson standards, and customer expectations.
- Enforce all Ericsson, federal, local, and customer safety guidelines and construction procedures during the Civil Works phase of the project.
- Perform site pre-inspections, coordinate post-construction audits, site verification, and visual inspection of quality on site.
- Prepare regular progress reports as required by the project.
- Provide accurate status information on progress to project management.
- Provide technical assistance to Service Providers and other suppliers associated with Civil Works activities.
- Reject wrong deliveries of material to site and report bad performance and quality on site.
- Interpret and ensure compliance with civil design plans.
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor works with Service Providers and other disciplines interfacing with Civil Works.
- Lead the team with a focus on quality and results.
- Write claims, order, and return materials.
- Maintain and update construction-specific areas of Site Handler, including SOW and preconstruction documents, NTP receipt verification, RFDS submission review and changes, Civils acceptance documents, Civils progress PFA verification, and close-out document review and acceptance sign-off.
Construction Manager 3 (CM3):
- Has highly developed knowledge and skills.
- Investigates and solves complex problems requiring substantial analysis by developing existing procedures, techniques, and methods.
- Impels improvement and change.
- Can guide and lead others in the work.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with project builds over 500 sites.
