About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to help shape and drive Enterprise Architecture capabilities across our Corporate Functions. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and enterprise technology, supporting Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement teams in achieving their transformation goals.
You'll combine deep domain expertise with strong architectural judgement to influence senior leaders, guide technology choices, and design target-state architectures that are pragmatic, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact across core corporate platforms and play a pivotal role in the organisation's wider transformation journey.
What You'll Do
Architect for Finance & Corporate Technologies
- Define strategy and target architectures for Finance (GL, AP/AR, Consolidation, Tax, Treasury), HR (HCM, Payroll, Talent), Legal (eBilling, Matter Management, CLM), and Procurement (S2P, P2P, Supplier Management).
- Lead modernisation initiatives across key enterprise platforms such as Workday, SAP, Coupa, ServiceNow and other SaaS/ERP systems.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including AI-driven forecasting, automation, and advanced analytics.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements (SOX, GDPR, data privacy).
- Advise executive leaders across Finance, HR, Procurement, and Legal to translate their priorities into actionable technology roadmaps.
Cross-Domain Integration
- Design integrated data flows across Finance, HR, Legal, and Procurement systems.
- Govern APIs, middleware, data models, and integration patterns to drive consistency, reliability, and real-time insights.
- Enable a progressively stronger single source of truth through thoughtful architecture and data governance.
Governance & Standards
- Apply and advocate for key architectural principles (privacy by design, minimal viable architecture, closed-loop reconciliation).
- Champion FinOps and TechOps practices to ensure technology spend is controlled, transparent, and value-driven.
What You'll Bring
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, technology strategy, or transformation roles within complex organisations.
- Hands-on experience with finance systems (ERP, EPM, Treasury) and platforms across HR, Legal, or Procurement (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Onit, Mitratech, Coupa, Ariba).
- Proven ability to architect solutions for:
- Financial close automation & regulatory reporting
- Hire-to-Retire and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Enterprise Contract Lifecycle Management
- Risk, compliance, and treasury operations
- Strong understanding of corporate functions operating models and their technology implications.
- Fluency with financial and operational KPIs, and the ability to design systems that improve them.
- Knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, microservices, API-led integration, event-driven architectures, and predictive analytics.
- Experience with EA tools, modelling standards, and frameworks.
- Solid grounding in Agile, Lean, ITIL, SDLC, and product-centric delivery models.
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
